Connecting phone

Hi All,

Trying to get both my laptop(windows 10) and my phone (android) to my kinetic trainer. The laptop sees the trainer when I start pedaling and my heart rate monitor just fine. My phone sees the heart rate monitor, but doesn’t see the trainer. A little baffled.

I’m ultimately trying to use the laptop to train and the phone as a controler. So, if I don’t need to have the phone see the trainer then I’m fine with that; however I’ve tried to follow some of the forums on here to get the two to sync while both connected to the same network, but no such luck.

Hi @christopher_meier.

You phone should be running the Zwift Companion app not the Zwift app. You also don’t need to pair your trainer or anything to the companion app on your phone.
