Updating request

Based on sods law my app always decides to update when I am already close to a ride start time!
Can we get an option to delay. Or better yet add updates when the app is closing.

Back in 2015 Jon Mayfield said they planned on adding optional and mandatory updates.

I think that would help with your request.

Since they haven’t done it yet, I would think that you must be riding the same version as the server.

So that would mean your options would be:

• update now and ride in 10 minutes
• update later and don’t ride at all

I think this would be a very big addon for many time challenged people like me.

However, option 1 is currently the way I have it and then I have to pedal like hell to catch everyone else in the ride!

Maybe this is a better way of keeping fit!

Hopefully one day updates can be optional.
