Unser Interface: Start new acitivity without closing Zwift

Hi,
It would be very nice and time saving if I could end a ride without closing the whole application. Sometimes I want to ride a certain route and then switch to another. It is very annoying that I have to close the whole application and start over again. Why not just end the current ride, sync it to Garmin, Strav etc… and directly continue with a new one?
I don’t get the logic behin why it should be necessary to close the whole application, if I want to change the route.
