Hi, i am trying to join a race through Zwift, but am not allowed to select any categories. This message appears instead:
Getting started with scored races
You’ll need to finish a few rides before you can join your first scored race. With more data we’ll be able to recommend the best group for you to compete against.
I have finished many rides, and been in races before… any tips?
It seems a single ride is not enough. I didn’t have a racing score, I did a ride on thursday, I got a racing score and got assigned the “old” category, yet I still can’t register for racing score events.
It would be nice to know how many is “a few rides”.
Were you using the correct Zwift account? Because I can see two accounts called Marcus Moen, with Norweigan flags - one has done recent rides and has a racing score, and the other own hasn’t done anything for six months. So I just wondered if you logged in with the wrong account?
I’ve just rejoined after the summer break and have the same issue bit annoying, apparently it’s required to complete 3 activities.
Came across this from Zwift
Q: What does it mean if I see “–” in place of a number for my racing score?
A: If you’re new to Zwift, or haven’t Zwifted in the last 90 days, we don’t have enough information to give you a score, and your profile will display “–”. You’ll need to complete at least three activities for us to calculate your racing score.
