Im trying to get a custom workout onto my apple tv to use. I have it loaded onto my laptop, it functions on the laptop. When i go to my Atv or even my andriod version of zwift, there isnt a custom workout folder showing.

Help.

I’m having the same problem. Did you figure it out?

I did Asher, I was placing the file in the wrong folder. I needed to look for the one with my zwift user ID… then start zwift on my laptop to load it

Not any more!

The Zwift app shouldn’t be used for editing workouts at all. It should just be used to run them. Editing a workout on a tiny phone screen or Apple TV is just a bad user experience.

The proper solution to this is for Zwift to remove the Custom Workout editor from the Zwift app to a web-based app accessible when you log into your Zwift account online. This would solve all the problems with the current mess.

So, is there a way of uploading a .zwo file made in a 3rd party app into the custom workouts folder WITHOUT uploading the file into a local zwift app file on a laptop or PC running the zwift app. In other words, presumably I can’t add custom workouts to my zwift profile on my PC?

Adding my experience to the thread. Created a custom workout on iPad. Crossed my fingers that Cloud Sync would copy it ATV. No dice. Downloaded PC app. Recreated it there. Boom. Shows up on ATV. Not ideal but editing on PC is better than iPad.

Interesting. All of the workouts I have created with my iPad have showed up on Apple TV without issue.

What do you know? I think Cloud Sync actually worked (at least from “cloud” to my iPad). The workout I created on the PC now shows up on the iPad and ATV. Just took a while. I’ll probably stick with using the PC as the editing is easier than using an iPad

Glad to hear the workout showed up, eventually. And, yes, creating/editing workouts on an iPad could definitely use some improvement!

Yeah, I can get custom workouts to sync on a PC and MacBook, but they do not show up on an Apple TV, iPhone, or iPad. I tried all the advice above. I contacted Zwift the response was basically :man_shrugging:
