Hi All, same problems as all other users.
Apparently no resistance at all (custom workout or ERG mode). Tried to fix it out for more than an hour and a half… no success.
Intel i5 PC with 16Gb RAM and TACX/Garmin Genius trainer.
It all started this evening after update to v1.33.0.
Is anyone working on this?
Here too problems ERG mode after update. With W11 (2 different laptop), Tacx Flux 2 en KickR Core with ANT+ and BLE separated tested. Also reinstalling Zwift doesn’t have effect.
I’ve seen the following being reported:
-Resistance not working/not working correctly in sim
-ERG not working at all/not working correctly
-Wattage fluctuations
-Drops frozen
-Seemingly mostly ANT+, but some people reporting issues with BT as well.
And it seems like these are affecting a bunch of people, in various clusters (some not seeing all of them, some seeing all). But during my couple of hours today, my wife on for an hour next to me, and several other friends I know doing workouts today too, there are also tons of people not affected by some or all of them. A bug that does not affect everyone is a selective bug.
I rode for two and a half hours earlier, and I saw tons of people doing workouts and in sim. Aside from two people mentioning the issue in the chat once, I didn’t see anyone mention it. I also saw plenty of people (and I was paying attention, given the wide spread problems) who seemed to be doing workouts properly–wattage and screen color and speeds all seemed as normal. Again, if I had just jumped on Zwift today without coming here, aside from two chat posts I wouldn’t have noticed anything wrong, either in my ride or what I was seeing around me.
It’s a very selective bug/set of bugs, yes. Very problematic, but unusual imo.
Yup, BLE breaks on the ATV, and results in other devices not seeing ANT+ sensors, for some reason.
On PC, with an ANT+ stick: the bike computer can see my trainer and HRM via ANT+.
That’s a head-scratcher… Why would BLE connection attempts by Zwift stop ANT+ connections to sensors from working? The ATV doesn’t have ANT+ so it’s like it’s instructing the NEO2T to stop listening to EVERY other device. I’m connecting directly, not Companion App bridging, which makes the issue all the weirder.
Companion working fine now. (edit - maybe laggy though ? It isn’t killing my ANT+ sensors at least)
ZwiftHQ: if you want me to troubleshoot, I have an iPad Pro, ATV, PC with ANT/BLE, NEO2T, Wahoo Headwind, Edge 1040, and a an NPE-CABLE pod. (latter not powered up at present)
Ahhhh… So this is what my issue was this morning after i updated Zwift. I ended my ride early as it was bloody brutal. I was struggling to keep 60rpm at 175watts… lol. It felt like i was doing a Z3/4 workout and not a Z1/2.
I have the ERG issue using a macbook and Wahoo kickr following this update. They should just go back to previous version as this has messed up the fundamentals for a lot of folks
I just had the same issue. I was forced into my little ring… on the downhill. I just did a 10m flat ride and my legs feel like I just did Alpe du Zwift.
Same issue here. Applied update before ride today, but no trainer resistance on gradients. I have trainer difficulty set to 100%. Using a Tacx Neo2T, Windows 10 PC. Trainer is connected. Tried disconnecting and reconnecting, resetting trainer resistance, no difference, No idea about ERG mode, I never use it.
I switched to BigRingVR and it worked fine, so it’s definitely a Zwift issue associated with this update.
I was having ERG not working. Couldn’t calibrate, resitance issues on incline and decline after updating yesterday. Tried today same thing. Unplugged ANt+ dong from pc running windows 11 and ran all sensors through Bluetooth on pc and zwift worked as it should.
So yeah - still playing with a broken Zwift install on my Mac Mini - it’s ANT+, it’s all jacked up and BAD!!! I was able to switch to Bluetooth on my Mac Mini and things “sort of” went back to normal but BT is not as responsive as ANT+. I mean, essentially, Zwift went from bad at the first signs of an issue after the update to actually worse for me. I waited 24 hours to revisit my Zwift rig to see if things could be fixed. I uninstalled it, reinstalled and it’s just BUSTED! @Ride_Cyclery - you broke the fundamental things that brings us all here - might want to put your entire team on this.
I’m not sure what happened since yesterday, but Zwift Controllable can now see my FE-C 38333 Kickr Snap on both computers. So, I believe I am good to go.
