Home Screen Update with a settings dialogue refreshment, but still nothing new in this regard. What a missed opportunity, I have to say I am disappointed.
Would also like to add that following the “Settings” page update (ATV user) the Trainer Difficulty slider is actually worse than it was before.
It no longer slides smoothly along the scale, but changes in discrete (rather large) increments. Just tried to change it a moment ago and it seemed to change from my original setting of approximately 25% to somewhere around 40% (eyeballing it) with nothing in between.
It would certainly be a nice feature to be able to dial it in to a known and reproducible value. Surely, this can’t be difficult to implement (there have been previous calls from users for this feature)?
Just had a play with this and it desperately needs a number for the slider that is 0 in the middle and like +10 and -10 on the scale to match the number of increments.
I know this is a “Set and Forget” thing but if you make a change and you don’t like it, its pretty hard to quickly revert to the old slider position.

Multiple requests on this already, was about to make a new one.
Its not an analogue slider, it has discrete positions, didn’t count exactly how many but the number needs to change for each one.
Put a zero in the middle and -10 at the minimum and +10 on the maximum or a number to match the number of increments.
As it is, you make a change and don’t like it, pretty hard to quickly find the old position.

Yes, that’s right, but
- f we start answer all the old threads the forum will explode
- I believe there are more important features which should be implemented
- All Mac and PC users can set the exact % in prefs.xml
- I don’t believe there are users who can feel a different of less than 5-10% in trainer difficulty
Sure no point starting a new one on the same topic is there ? Perhaps it’s a long overdue fix.

Can we get the update with % of trainer diff just like in case of MW? It would be so much easier to set your default option for racing, climbing, recovery and other type of rides. I think it will help lots of riders. Hopefully, we can get it in the near future. Best wishes!
I tried moving mine but I hated it, its pretty much back to the middle default setting.
I don’t really understand it to be honest, the effect is just not what I really wanted.
Essentially I have 22 virtual gears at the press of a button on the WattBike, the lowest could do with dropping down one more and I never get above 18 so everything above that is a waste of time.
The effect you want on the trainer “Difficulty” is to be able to set the gear range, so mine need to close up so you experience less of a jump between gears.
I spend pretty much all of my time in gear 10 or gear 11 on the flat, which is a good midrange point but wouldn’t mind if they closed up a bit to have 3 gears in that range not 2.
