Please help me. I did my second ride, I finished, I’m in classify on zwif power but I have no the circle number 2. Why?
I completed the Tour of Watopia Stage 2 on 3d April. The result is shown with my position in Zwift Power and the activity is shown in Zwift Companion but the Passport is not stamped ? is this a known problem ? If I swap out to a different world before saving is that what causes this problem ?
Also did mine April 3rd but not ticked off in the companion app. I didn’t change Worlds at the end so I don’t think it can be that causing it.
I lost interent just before the top of the volcano on stage 2 but still completed the stage and earned double XP all the way. My finish did not register for the event though and I had to enter stage 2 again today where I earned double XP again. So yes you can earn double XP multiple times but you will need to disconnect you internet connection at some point during the stage, but before the end.

Thanks for flagging this up. We discovered a glitch with the event setup mid-day Saturday, and fixed it for subsequent Stage 2 events.
Everyone who completed a Stage 2 ride on Saturday morning will be automatically credited after the fact. No need for you to do anything else at this point. We’re working on it this week.
Thank you @shooj good to hear it’s in work to be fixed and excellent communication! Thanks!!!
Thanks a lot. Angela
Hello, tour of watopia feels like a race. During the ride you can see your position and after the ride you find the standings in zwiftpower including cups for 1st, 2nd and 3rd. Why can one not earn any points? (Same situation with tour de zwift)
Great news - just what we all wanted to hear!
Many thanks
Do we also earn double XP for new route badges? i’ve not done either stage 3 route before, so was hoping for a mountain of XP!
Thanks!! It is fixed now!
While it’s my understanding that this may have occurred in the past, in the current Tour of Watopia, I believe Double XP are only awarded for distance and only whilst on the tour itself. In other words, when you pass the finishing Banner the double XP goes back to single for the duration of your ride. Passing through banners, route completions and power ups are only awarding the standard experience points (XP). But at least whilst riding these new routes (for you), you will benefit from the group dynamic draft. I was very excited to get double XP on my 25th Ascent of the Alpe, and then disappointed to learn that not only is the AdZ not on the tour for men, but the doubling does not apply to these sorts of badges…
Keep in mind, also, since you cannot engage a workout whilst participating in the Tour, depending on your own particulars, the Tour routes with large climbs in them may not offer very many incentives in terms of XP.
You are quite right. However in general the power output per kilogram of body weight (W/kg) is distorted for every rider by the fact of the weight of the bicycle being excluded from the calculation. So there are heavier female and lighter male cyclists compared to the so-called average, and each and all of them are affected by these distorted watts per kilogram metrics… on every ride and with every frame change.
Are you sure it is being excluded? I think the weight of the bike you use is one of the reasons for some bikes being faster in game.
By the way - there are so many discussions about the calculation of speed - does anybody knows the formula Zwift is using???
The weight of the frame IS excluded from the reported watts per kilogram (W/kg) metric displayed on-screen, not from the calculations involved in the so-called game physics such as coefficient of drag, rolling resistance Etc.
So yes, a gravel bike goes faster on the gravel than a Tron. And the S-Works Venge climbs faster than a gravel bike on the Alpe. Different topic.
But, a 70kg rider pushing 210 W on ANY frame is reported as 3.0W/kg. And a 50kg rider pushing 150 W on any frame will be reported as 3.0W/kg.
However, it could said that a 70kg rider on a 10kg frame pushing 210W should be reported as 2.63W/kg. And the 50kg rider on that same 10kg frame pushing 150 W should be reported as 2.5W/kg. Guess who’s going to win the race?
Same as real life. When any outdoor racers talk about their w/kg they don’t take their bike’s weight into account.
Is it possible to do Stage 1 again? I missed it, and started today with stage 2.
And i have to say, that the Performance of Servers are really good (at least today: 900 drivers and no lags). Perfect
Yes, there will be a make up week at the end of the tour.
Agree, no computer related issues.
I wish I could change something so I can more easily identify my avatar.
A lot of candy corn jokes and some are rather corny.
Hi - I am newbie on Zwift - trying to get back some fitness thru cycling … luckily found zwift …and enjoying every km
I registered for the TOW 2021 - Rookie rides … as it seemed to be the most appropriate group for me… and really wanted to see the difference between a group ride and solo ride… however on zwiftpower i note that over 80-85% of the field were averaging more than the specified 1.5W/kg… i see only 5 of us actually averaged 1.5W/kg or less …in a group of 53 …now i understand this is not a race - and the most important thing in the Stages of the TOW 2021 - is to catch the start and finish lines ![]()
However I am not sure what the rookie group ride is about - cause on the start almost everyone disappeared
i think i managed to stay in the group for maybe 2km or so … is there something am missing here …or is it just how zwift works… I would expect people who can average more than 1.5W/kg to actually ride in other categories…that would seem to be the more logical thing to do… I can understand more experience riders participating on a recovery ride mode maybe…
I guess my question is how am i supposed to go about the rookie rides…any tips or am i just overthinking this… Dont get me wrong…i am enjoying the TOW a lot even if most of the ride is in solo mode…i am registered already for theStage 3 - on saturday - and looking forward to it.
