They use use the Imperial unit system.
Noting a problem for @shooj or whoever at ZHQ can flag this to be fixed - The āracesā are being flagged as group rides, not races. So filtering for races in Zwift Companion doesnāt pick them up, and Zwiftās sign-up website ( The at Home Cycling & Running Virtual Training App ) isnāt functioning correctly at the moment. It shows no races, and it mixes the race times in with the group ride times for each category.
(This means that people might mistakenly sign up for a race instead of the group ride, plus it adds a nonexistent āDā category to the group rides - because itās reading that from the races. I also donāt know what that means for the womenās races.)
For everyone else: Double-check what type of event youāve signed up for, and your category!
@Karissa_Minn and everyone on this thread:
We could have done a better job rolling out the event registration, and for that we apologize. All the issues yāall have raised are being ironed out. Some have already been fixed. The rest - we will get sorted out as soon as possible. We thank you for your patience.
Wonder why there is a 7 hour gap at the late races.(EDIT- OK now they brought that time gap down, thanks) I hope this gets corrected. And why are the Tuesday times the exact same times as Monday? shouldnāt they vary just an hour or so?
Will Stage 7 be available for make up on 02/10/20 or 02/11/20? Is any stage available for make up on all days or are they scheduled throughout the makeup period?
Thanks
Tour De Zwift 2020 kicks off this weekend, and with it, our first TDZ Live Cycling broadcast.
There will be a TDZ Live show for every stage. The broadcasts will be on the eve of the next stageās start date.
This is Stage 1:
Any possibility of adding a 5am ride(and run for those of us who are doubling) to Pacific timezone in North America. Options are 4(too early) and 6 (have to get kids up and ready to go). Evening options after 8 would be nice also, not much except really early and late night for me. Much appreciated!
No Tron bike at all for TdZ 2020?
Only for the Races.
For the group rides you can use the Tron. Or the Buffalo Bike
Does anyone have any information regarding how the running version of this TdZ will work? Specifically, Iām wondering about the routes and distances for each stage. For example, it looks like the short route for stage 1 is 19 miles (31km). Thatās a bit far for a run.
Thanksā¦
-Joe
Thanks @Daren! Thatās exactly what I was looking for.

Zwift needs to up their game here, possibly with a live q and a. The B race was suppose to be shorter than the A race. Nobody seems to know anything for a certainty. I thought the A race would be at least several laps more than the B? Does your w/kg matter in a race under 20 minutes? and I thought tron bikes and disc wheels rule only applied to the pro/am race, that first event held live today by invitation only?
Was it? I think theyāre just supposed to be different power bands.
Any reason there isnāt a single link to this event on any Zwift website? I find it crazy the only way to get to the event page is google it.
On the companion app it says 3.5 miles for stage 1group run (though it also says 3.7 miles in the description, so not sure which is right).
Click any of these Rob https://zwifthacks.com/app/events/?sort=name and then click the zwift.com button and that will give you what you want.
Sorry, I should have been more specific. Official Zwift.com site. Surely there should be a link in the events page.
Guys i just raced C grade Tour De Zwift with a placing of 2nd, but i think my results need to be negged as looking over the numbers imā fairly sure my power meter was glitching (bluetooth connection issues? who knows) but i can assure you i cannot hold a 4.0wkg for 22 mins (i have an ftp of 275 and weigh 100kg) and i sure as hell canāt hit 1800 watt spring (1200 yes, but 1800 is a bit much).
Who do i contact about nullifying my results in this race?
Kind Regards,
Chris McAlpine
@shooj there seems to be an error for the events in Stage 2!
On the official Zwift page, for the group rides, the B cat shows the race distance, rather than the ride distance.
