Exactly, for a virtual world where you could have something better than real life - why not have some options?
It’s not distressing in any way, I’d just like it as a feature.

When I’m on a normal ride (outdoors) I see runners all the time and normally acknowledge them the same way that I do other riders, maybe we should be able to do that in Zwift

You can give a Ride On to runners, iirc. It doesn’t do anything for them, as there is nothing to buy for running. Although I guess if they’re also riders, that little sweat drop bonus can still be useful there.

I’m personally waiting to see swimmers as we go down the ocean tubes when someone cracks indoors swimming trainers.
