Tests other than FTP (VO2 max, peak power, sprint power, ...)


While the FTP test are all very good and useful, there is a variety of other tests out there that are also useful to measure overall cycling fitness.

Could you please develop additional workouts that allow to repeat testing for:

  • peak power;

  • sprint power (6 sec, 10 sec, … max sprint);

  • VO2 max (3mins, 5 mins, … max effort).

I know of these tests but I have no clear idea on how to implement them, how to warm-up to them and cool down, etc. It would be great to have these tests built-in by experienced coaches with the text recommendations etc. in Zwift. This would allow for comparisons to be also more accurate over time.
