after long consideration I have decided to buy a trainer for winter season. Many students, pupils, friends and I would like to use Zwift, because we think the software is simply magnificent, but the downside is the price. 15 euros/dollars are really a lot for students, especially if you still have to buy the trainer. If it were 5 euros/dollars cheaper, we students would be helped a lot. I would be happy if they could offer a subscription for students and thus include younger people with not so much money in the community.
If your child is under 16, their Zwift account will be free until they are 16 years old. After they turn 16, you’ll have to pay the regular monthly membership fee for them to continue using Zwift.
Your child must be at least five (5) years old to Zwift.
very interesting that it is free for children up to 16. However, this is about students (16-23). It would be really great if the price is just lowered a bit for students.
I would be for this but I see difficulties on the details…
Who is a student, full time/part time …
What about non students who are non students because they can’t afford school (or can’t afford not to work in order to go to school).
Maybe you could ask your school to sponsor a registered student organization for Zwifting students.
When I was a student I spent way more than that every week on beer for the weekend. Skip a meal/starbucks/pint once a month and there you have your extra $5.
I think this topic represents a potential gold mine for Zwift.
Get the rec centers at colleges to have a few Zwift bikes for exercise and introduce the exercising students to Zwift then there would be a push for a student club and many students would have their own subscription.
Zwift is just not matching Peleton in the PR department.
It seems everyone has heard of Peleton.
