Need some help with a sudden issue. I have a fairly new Windows 11 PC that has been running the Zwift app almost flawlessly for more than a month. Yesterday (Wednesday), I double clicked on the icon, it started, and I clicked the regular button. It went to a second screen with some images on it and then went back to the screen with the two buttons. Clicked again, same thing. It did this three or four times and then just exited.
I’ve reinstalled the app (deleted all the extra files I could find) three times. I found some information about OneDrive and browser settings. Followed those. Same issue.
It was running fine on Tuesday and suddenly stopped working. Is anyone else having issues like this?
What version of the launcher do you have? right click on the system tray icon, and see what it says. It might need to be updated, downloaded from Zwift.com?
Hi @Heidi_Littenberg, this is Monica from Zwift. I’m really sorry to hear that you’re having trouble launching the Zwift game despite your efforts. To help resolve this, could you please set up a new admin-level Windows user profile on your PC? After that, try installing and launching Zwift from that profile. This should help prevent the issue from occurring again.
If the issue persists remember that you can contact us at support@zwift.com
It’s 1.1.13. I’ll check Zwift’s website, but this was all installed (three times) yesterday and it managed to upgrade before it got stuck in this infinite loop.
FYI my account is Admin and I have what I think is the latest launcher version (1.1.13). Any other tips would be much appreciated. So far, other support articles haven’t yielded anything substantive.
Thanks. I uninstalled Zwift (again) and then searched my hard drive for any stray files. I delete those. Redownloaded, reinstalled… still have the same problem.
I’m about to pull the plug on Zwift now, as much as I love them for supporting women’s cycling. The app can’t just work one day and then not work the next.
