If I remember correctly there used to be a bug which resulted in the effect that a change of equipment (bike/wheels/kit etc.) in the start pen of a group ride was not visible for other participants of that ride. Does anyone know if this is still the case?

As far as I know this still happens. I don’t know if it’s an always kind of problem or if there are certain situations in which it happens. I have seen situations where someone appears to be on a TT bike but in the race it really seems like they’re probably not. Also if you pre-ride the route in Crit City, it’s really common to end up with a sprint/KOM/lap leader’s jersey in the race start pen and throughout the race (because the routes are empty in a pre-ride) but others don’t see that.
