I’m currently working through build me up, but it’s beautiful out and I want to go do some rides outside. Would it be bad to spread out the workouts over a longer period of time so I can do some outdoor rides? This plan is pretty tough, so if I stick to the recommended timespan I really don’t have much time to do other rides otherwise I’d probably hurt myself. Thoughts??
You could pick workouts to skip and do something else instead. You can spread it out by an extra 2 weeks but after that the plan ends and you would need to restart it if you want be back in a plan.
I mean if I get kicked out I can still Re enroll and finish all the workouts right? I’m not that concerned with getting the digital rewards at all. My main concern is whether or not this will reduce the benefits of the plan. Sorry I should’ve worded that more clearly
Yes you can do that.
You could, buy your previous progress would not be tracked within the re-enrollement.
This is Haziel from Zwift support, and I wanted to follow up on your inquiry about the “Build Me Up” workout.
As mentioned, the “Build Me Up” plan spans 12 weeks, and Zwift provides an additional 2-week grace period for you to complete it. This means you have a total of 14 weeks from the moment you enroll. If, for any reason, the plan extends beyond this timeframe, it will automatically expire and be removed from your dashboard.
If you take a long ride outside and miss a scheduled BMU workout, please don’t worry. You can manually mark that workout as complete to avoid any interruptions in your progress. Simply navigate to the plan, select the missed workout, and click on “I Did It” (or “Done Outside”). This way, the plan will continue to progress smoothly, even if you opt for outdoor cycling.
In case you already expired the plan, you can re-enroll and make the workouts that you have previously done, on “I Did It” and continue with the plan where you left it.
