So, I’m in a ride yesterday and someone claims to be using Alexa to perform speech (voice) to text for chat input. That sounds really helpful. But I can’t find any info on how that is actually accomplished?
Can anyone point me in the right direction?
Just use the Zwift Companion App (ZCA) on your smart phone. Then you can use the speech-to-text built into your smartphone’s keyboard to send messages.
That’s what I do on my Android smartphone.
Thanks Scott, that will work. I was hoping though that I could get the hands free experience using Alexa.
Hey Scott! I use ZCA all the time but using my Galaxy S9 for the app don’t see any button or access to microphone in ZCA???
It’s built into the virtual keyboard that I use: “Gboard”. That’s short for “Google Keyboard”. Perhaps you’re using a different keyboard - it’s configurable in Android settings.
