Some zwift power numbers not matching zwift numbers

Some of my power numbers (specifically my 15 second and 1 minute power) on zwift are not correctly reflected on zwiftpower

15 Second - zwift power 707 - on zwift 773

1 minute - zwift power 364 - on zwift the number is 529

Not sure why this is the case - other numbers like 20 minute etc are correct

ZwiftPower only includes group activities and does not include free rides and solo workouts, which is where I suspect you have hit those high 1 minute and 15 second power numbers.

Go to my.zwift.com and look on the right side under Fitness. Those are your PRs. ZwiftPower is not a reliable source for that.

  1. If your Zwift activities are not saved as public then those activities .fit files never move from Zwift to ZwiftPower and ZwiftPower numbers are based on live data. That live data almost always underestimates shorter power durations.
  2. ZwiftPower bests will only show bests that happened during an “Event”, when Zwift includes any Sprint or KOM segment chasing you did while free riding, workouts, etc.

You quite often see differences within Zwift and with Zwift Power. Earlier this week I did the Tuesday ZRL race. On saving the race I saw on the new’ish “Progress Report” I set a new 20 min PR of (don’t laugh) 202 watts. When I look at my.zwift I see I did set a 20 min PR in the race but it says it was 200 watts. Days later ZP still has my 20 min PR as 199.

Thanks all, Ian’s post is what I think is going on, only events aka races/group rides are being pulled into zwift power for the best power numbers for the different times intervals, been doing a lot of workouts this year instead of group rides so power numbers from those workouts are not reflected in zwift power, but are on my zwift profile page.

Thanks again for the replies.
