I did the Shisa Shakdown route the other day and noticed that the published elevation according to the route selection screen when starting Zwift is very different than what you actually get when riding it. Distance is about right, so I don’t think it has to do with any lead-in. The route selection screen shows 30.7 miles and 2,114 feet of climbing. When I rode it, the distance was just about exactly the same, but I only ended up with 1,627 feet of climbing. I can understand being off by a little bit one way or the other, but this was almost 500 feet difference. Is there something I am missing or is that a glitch in the game?
The data file from my ride includes a little extra distance which was essentially all downhill and flat.
Zwift Insider has it as 1624ft and @Eric_Schlange_ZwftIn does a much better job of proofreading his posts than Zwift does with their route details.
I did this today, 1827ft including the uphill lead-in from the pen start.
