Right click controlller will not connect

Hi. I just ordered/ installed zwift cog v2. I am now having trouble connecting the right zwift click controller to companion app. The left controller connects fine. I ran through all of the troubleshooting advice I could find, and still no luck. On the companion app ot just shows searching constantly. Could it be a bad controller?
