This morning, I did about a half an hour ride during which I didn’t receive a single Ride On. At the end of the ride, the summary page showed 0 Ride Ons. Afterwards, when viewing the ride on the Activities page of Zwift Companion, I see that I received about 50 Ride Ons during the ride. That is, little thumbs pop up all through the ride replay. Of course, I did receive Ride Ons after the ride as well. But the inconsistency between the client and Zwift Companion seems odd.
