Perhaps car traffic can be added to the maps. For example in NYC every so often a taxi runs you over and knocks you off the bike or a parked vehicle opens a car door.
Also add swooping birds that attack you or maybe even pooping seagulls on the island map.
I have always said, it would be great if Zwift added MORE game elements. Think Repack Rush meets mario cart. Or a dinosaur eats you, or you can stick your bike pump into the wheels of people beside you, or there’s an oil slick etc etc.
Im thinking Sega Genesis Crazy Taxi x Rad Racer on a bike. Of course we also need Road Rash style weapons like chains, bats, and pipes to attack people trying to pass. Also maybe some a-hole single speed bike couriers weaving through traffic getting hit by cars when they run redlights.
O wow. Maybe add a bike courier mode where you have to take jobs and sprint from location to location and you have to choose your own best route to stay with time limits
Im the type of guy where million dollar ideas are a dime a dozen.

Honestly, I don’t know why they haven’t done this kind of thing.
Possibly because it’s a training program rather than an arcade game.

I guess that’s one way to look at it. Nothing wrong with doing both. For my money, doing structured workouts in Zwift is mind-numbingly boring.
Adding fun elements like this wouldn’t require them to remove anything else.
Yes but imagine how much larger of a demographic they could target with “arcade mode”. All those video game addicts will get tricked into exercising.
