I poked around here but didn’t find the answers I’m after. I did the Straight Outta 24 stage Tuesday at 14:10 (my third effort at a race, I think) At the finish there were 34 riders and I was marked 10th, just ahead of another rider. A day later there were 17 finishers and I was 7th, and the rider I’d finished ahead of was gone.

Is that because some didn’t use HRMs and were deleted?
-
My race score was 140 at the start; some other riders had race scores like “2”, yet many more miles/races on Zwift than I. I guess the question is how does that work?
-
Since this series has many opportunities to do the stages, are the results for all stages joined together at the end of the sets of stages?
-
Is there a way to see all results for all categories by age group? I understand it’s done by race score categories now, but it would be nice to see how I compare against other geezers.
TIA,
M
Hi Mark. If you view the ‘unfiltered’ list on zwift power you can see there are a number of riders WITH ‘HR’ next to their positions. I’m pretty sure that means they have been taken out of the official zwift power results due to not having a heart rate monitor. (there was 1 who finished above you which is why you gained a place)
The racing scores are calculated (by magic) but as far as I can work out it’s also on various metrics like 30 second and 10 min max power in the last 90 days (these might have changed)… Finish position… The strength of the group etc… The racing score should change the more people race. If someone has a real low number and have a lot of miles. It’s likely they have not been active on zwift recently or have not done any races or big efforts recently. Over time their scores will change the more they ride.
Usually the overall GC leaders will be from the busiest races as these are typically faster due to larger groups riding at a higher speed.
I don’t think you can see the results yet. But have a Google of ‘zwift straight out of 24’ and you should find more information on the zwiftinsider website
Thank you! I agree with the “magic” comment. That makes perfect sense about the low score, I hadn’t thought of that.
