I have noticed that riders without a HRM were filtered out and got a HR check next to their name in the first race. And those results are also not shown in the overal standings.
But today in the 2nd race those riders aren’t filtered out and can be seen in the overal rankings.
Is that happening later or have the rules changed ?
And if its the last, do they get their results from the first race back since they are now all shown as one race completed.
Not sure if anyone will be that bothered for this series, James only set it up as a bit of fun, as we said the other day you could win your pen GC by simply riding every single Festival event.
I know that, but it looks a bit weird to dsq people on day 1 and 3 and let them in the ranklings on day 2.
It is one of the other my idea is. Either leave everyone without a HRM in it and by doing that also in the rankings, since the example I gave only show that she did one race, or dsq them for all races if a hrm is mandatory.
I came 3rd in the make up race on Saturday and was doing my victory dance through the room here, till the wife pointed out that my bronce medal wasnt showing in the GC Rankings like all others have.
She was having a good laugh about that.
The make up races arent counted for the medals in the GC ?
By default, Zwift Power treats results in each category in order. A win in A is technically ahead of all B’s, C’s, etc etc. Filter your Zpower profile by placing and it will look very chaotic, instead of being all 1st in cat then all 2nd in cat.
On a holistic GC that crosses categories (like this and ZWS), only the top 3 finishers across all cats on a given race get the trophy on the GC screen. Whether they intended this or not… no idea.
To match the weekly 5 races goal, i had to do 3 makeup rides and did them all in a row within 3hrs.
I understand out from this new race format until november, we have somehow a weekly GC.
If you want to get top ranked, you better be daily in a race and to prime times.
But i can`t because of business.
1st and 2nd makeup race as estimated.
But in 3rd race (weekend prime time) tank too empty and iam ok with the result. BUT ZRS dropped by 20! points.
Why does ZRS takes not care, how often you race in a row? If such happens often, it will dropped me into a lower rank, where iam for sure in the wrong place (original CatC highender).
This race format needs make up rides during the week to keep in touch with competitors.
Otherwise, compared to the old ZR monthly races, this format is useless.
I believe it is even an overal GC, so for the 35 races. First sorted by number of races and secondly by the time.
But I would not take the GC that seriously if I was you. Just like you a lot of people will zone 2 a few, or a lot of races. I think James [ZHQ] made it as something fun to see, so an extra and not something that serious.
It’s not a GC competition; there just happens to be one. It’s an introduction to racing and a regular event for people coming back. The badge is for 7 events of 35.
There are GCs for Tour of Watopia, ZWS, zwift Epic races, zwift climbing races, zwift TT races, and Zwift Academy. This doesn’t include the rest of the racing on the platform like ZRL. Make up races would just be you solo riding.
