What are the specs of the laptop? Does it have a Snapdragon CPU?
Zwift does not have a native release for that CPU architecture, which means your ARM CPU runs it in emulation, and that is very bad. Many games will have the same problem. You should run Zwift on something else or exchange the laptop for something with an Intel or AMD CPU.
You can find some other discussions about it here:
Graphics card driver is
Qualcomm Adreno X1-45GPU
version 31.0.1120 latest version
Thanks, I only bought this laptop on Thursday as my Macbook decided to die
Paul,
Thanks for your help, I returned my newly purchased laptop and exchanged for one that has a AMD cpu. It works great , wish I had know before
FWIW -
The Mac Neo can run Zwift fairly well.
I just did a test with D Miguel, ~100 riders on Tempus Fugit.
It had the High graphics profile
Resolution 1440
Avg FPS 44
Less crowded rides can have FPS right at 60.
Hi Dan
I had no problems with my MacBook, but when Applem told me it had died I quickly tried to find a replacement and we decided to change to a windows PC. The one I chose was using Snapdragon processor which made it impossible to run Zwift on because of the architecture. A guy on this forum and Zwift said I need to find a laptop that used either a AMD or intel processor. I chose AmD and hey presto I am all up and running.
