I think one of the reasons we don’t see more diversity in the avatars is the graphical limitations, which was highlighted in another forum post I linked below. They currently can’t have hair go below the shoulder in the game. I’m sure they are looking into it, they have a couple of posts on their site about how they are making an effort to integrate the diversity of their users. I’ve used a “Zwift alternative” called RGT, they are way behind Zwift in this regards and have very limited avatar choices.
