Pixel watch 4 won't stay connected as heart rate monitor

Hey everyone, loving zwift so far but having an issue where my pixel watch 4 won’t stay connected as a heart rate monitor. I am running zwift on Windows 11. The PC is a beelink SER5 mini PC with an AMD processor. The watch will connect at the pairing screen and stay connected for about 10 seconds. If I go to start a ride it disconnects and I can’t get it to reconnect. Any suggestions?

Have you tested pairing via the Companion app? That would rule out a problem with the PC Bluetooth adapter. A lot of laptops and mini PCs (which are basically a screenless laptop) have very poor Bluetooth performance. If it works when you pair via the Companion app running on a phone, then my next suggestion will be to disable the PC Bluetooth adapter and use a USB dongle.

Also, depending on which trainer you have, it may also support HRM bridging, so that might be another pairing option but you didn’t mention which trainer you have so I don’t know.

I ended up picking up a HRM and it works no problem. Sadly, must be something with the watch.
