Hi just wondering if anyone can recommend anything.
Phone recently upgraded software to ios18 (whatever the latest one is)
Current HDMI to lightening cable is now not compatible.
Are there any other options out there that don’t need to be swapped every time there’s a phone software update. It’s hard looking at a phone screen balancing on the handlebars at the moment.

I’ve heard several reports from people using 3rd party Lightning HDMI adapters that they broke after the upgrade, but I don’t think you’ll have that problem with the Apple Lightning Digital AV adapter
Using that you would have access to Apple support for any issues, and of course it’s returnable if it’s not reliable. Naturally it costs more because Apple.
You can cast to a fire stick or Roku or other device.
I found there was a slight lag but still better than the small screen.
Paul’s reply might work best but if you already have a fire stick or other device, you can use it now.
