Good point. It seems like adding some sort of ‘main page layout’ section to the ‘MORE’ tab of ZC might be a good start. This could be set up to allow the user to toggle on/off each available section of the main page (Fitness Trends, Next Up, etc.), as well as rearranging the order.
I’m not a prog, but this doesn’t seem like it would be too difficult, as many other apps have something similar.
Ok I like the new workout option that selects a workout but it has much to be desired on selection of which workout it wants to suggest for you… it crazy i just let it suggest what to do and the thing put me into a VO2 MAX day and then immediately the next time I selected it the following day the thing then tossed me into a THRESHOLD Development – not to mention the RPM suggestions sheesh … A.I is not known for mercy but it would be awesome if the thing could look at my stress data and see where my norms are at and adjust accordingly as I would love to be able to spin at 90-100rpm for five minutes immediately after a previous interval that has me mashing and then spinning for 12 minutes … I mean sheesh a littler mercy please … the ‘tune’ option should be at least able to say oh you really worked hard yesterday so lets do a nice Z2 recovery ride today and then throw me back to the wolves …
I mentioned this before, but saying it again here in case anyone else is noticing this too - I think Zwift is not estimating load correctly for non-power based workouts. I say this because I’ve compared what intervals.icu does with my outdoor HR-only rides vs. what Zwift does, and what I see from intervals.icu seems to make more sense in terms of load.
This is an example…
I went outdoors and did a reasonably chill mountain bike ride with about 10-12mins of climbing, the rest was lower power output. Zwift gave this ride 81 stress points, intervals.icu gave this ride 53 stress points - which seems to make more sense to me.
Indoors I did a hard 4x8mins @107% FTP for about the same moving time as the outdoor ride. Intervals.icu gave this ride 84 stress points, and Zwift gave me 83 stress points. In this case both are totally similar.
This is the HR comparison between these two rides to show the difference in HR based effort…
You can probably tell the indoor ride should be similar to what intervals gives for stress points, while Zwift seems to consider these almost identical rides in terms of stress points. My theory is Zwift isn’t properly using heart rate to help calculate stress points for non-power based rides.
@Zee_Kryder as mentioned earlier there isn’t currently an in-game setting (though that feedback has been shared with our developers), but I can add your Zwift account to our opt out list if you’d like? Just let me know if you’d like to proceed and I can handle that on our end

@Riccardo_DiCecio you should now be opted out

The recommendations continue to not match the text, unless you consider 4 one minute efforts at up to 160% FTP to be “endurance.” For reference it wants me to do a minute at 495w, my 90-dayPR is 501w for a minute.
What do I have to do to make this feature go away? I’ve been trying to ignore this garbage, but now I’m getting a tutorial from Scotty the Squirrel when I log in. As I’ve stated before, I need another fitness app telling me what to do like I need another hole in my head. Either allow me to turn this off, or cancel my account. Zwift is not, nor will ever be, my coach, Period.
@Mike_TV@Geoff_G you are both now opted out
