it really is great not being able to remove this feature, I have done 4 rides on zwift in 2 and half weeks and have been told sustained endurance riding has been your recent focus….I’ve done 94km in that time and my training score has dropped
I got a 5/5 today:
Not really ideal given I had a slight injury issue a few days ago. I still did my planned rides but dialled back the intensity to avoid making things worse.
That workout is basically 10x5min with some short bursts above FTP to fatigue you.
My own riding plan for the year has been more effective than any of the workouts in Zwift.
Our rollout continues, with additional languages to come.
I rather see an option to turn this off
So it’s multilingual bo££ocks. Great. ![]()
Will you ever be giving the user the option to turn this off? I know the answer so no need to reply, not that you will
Oh my. Appeared for me today. The very first word is a complete failure:
„Reite“ means „ride a horse“.
Good-bye Zwift, all good things must come to an end. Just cancelled my membership. Gonna keep my eyes open, maybe I‘ll come back if I get the option to switch this off.

Shuji at Zwift HQ here. We appreciate you letting us know, and the translation team is sorting out the instances of „Reite“.
. Input like yours helps us make this feature better.
I cancelled my subscription last week.
Please turn off that crap! Some of your users know what they are doing by using Zwift as a training platform and less than a “game”. Please focus on your bugs and stabiltity issues. Zwift has been patronizing their customers for five years now by prescribing 5W stepping in workouts
- forcing to use intervals.icu or other third party tools. ![]()
BTW, your translation team could take care of the connection screen, too, “Stromquelle” is related to
…
I believe we should start a future request and vote!
But (after 8 years Zwift) I don’t believe it is going to change anything.
Most likely this. If you see how Zwift, in this case Shuij but they all do it, ignores the remarks about Kerstin discontinueing the membership and what it would take for to start again but also no answers were ever given about why there is no off button after many asked for it, should tell us enough that Zwift just forces us to see this. And probably use us annoyed scrolling passed it as members using the in their eys great feature to show the bosses how great it is.
Well done, you personalized
our problem …
That’s dramatic ![]()
What would make this feature better for me is the ability opt out of a beta I never wanted to join.
Sad to see you go. You were one of the first people I ‘met’ on Zwift and made me wonder what the …. an Ride On was.
Later we had fun doing stupid and long events like the 28 days of concequetive racing.
I was mostly interested in this feature, but now I’m greatly not…
I lifetime PR’d my 3-5 minute power block last night, and this is today’s recommendation ~12 hours after said lifetime power record:
“Threshold block on Road to Sky”
yeah that’s not how training works…
That said, like I mentioned, I was curious to see where this feature went, but I like… seemingly everyone, wished this was Opt-In
I just frankly don’t have the time to add any more riding to my schedule.
If I had to have something there as a block in Companion, I’d prefer it be a shortcut to something of my choosing.
There are feature requests with way more than 100 votes that still don’t go anywhere and folks still argue against them, despite the request being popular.
Similar, I’m doing a fair amount of consistently fast 45-47min ADZ laps twice per day now and have done more than 175 laps of that mountain this year. This is some way off my fastest but overall it’s some of the best fitness I’ve had being able to do that on a lot of days.
And Zwift is suggesting me a sweet spot workout and says I’m fresh? No that’s not going to work. Today I’m definitely fatigued and I’ve been on the edge of injury a few times last few weeks. This Zwift feature doesn’t take that into account.
It always has me in fresh. I believe it’s struggling the same as Garmin did for the longest time (intervals too for that matter).
The issue is the fatigue calculator on companion doesn’t have a “maintaining” zone as Garmin finally pushed out at whatever point a year ago or so. Where it too always remained in that top of ‘fresh’ zone. Which… isn’t fresh at all; it’s just a transitional area, which Garmin chose to rename after years and years and years.
It’s not that I hate this feature, but it also isn’t really giving much explanation (again it doesn’t matter for me because I don’t have time to add it into my schedule anyway).
But at least with Garmin it explains that maintaining means I’m quite literally at a plateau, and need to vary my loads to see improvement.
Companion doesn’t have that, so it just opts to fresh. Which is fine, I get it, but fresh isn’t the whole story.
The recommendation feature seems to sometimes offer things I think are reasonable for the most part, like saying I should do some sprint efforts, which I’ve finally done this week after… an extremely long time.
But I think personally I’d love that space instead to give more of a “why” for what I should be doing; not a route or a workout by name (a route isn’t going to do anything for anyone anyway).
Something as simple as showing me my load graph when I log in (because otherwise it’s behind super awkward click zones IMO), and saying “let’s do some sprints today, you’ve been doing a lot of Z1/2” or “try fitting a 20 minute threshold effort in your ride today”… would be more useful to me and probably most people on the platform than “let’s do volcano loop today because I said so”…
This! As if the recommendations aren’t useless enough, the zone scale appears to be scaled a bit too high. There’s no way that at the end of every training block I’m still ‘Fresh’.
