Is there a way to add a line to the structured workout .zwo file that makes Zwift disregard the FTP set on the platform and instead use the FTP specified in the file?
I remember something like <overrideFTP>VALUE</overrideFTP>.
However, I can’t seem to find this anymore in the forum or in other sources. Could anyone help? Thanks.
Kind of related to this, I set my FTP artifically low a week or two ago, to do an ERG workout at recovery effort.
The Companion app fitness tracker didn’t intelligently realise what I’d done and gave me too much TSS credit and it’s been wrong since, despite changing my FTP back in-game to a realistic number.
I guess I’m not sure about the scenario for the OP, if the issue is you want to hit specific power numbers isn’t there a way to configure the workout by wattage instead of %FTP?
I send .zwo workout files to my athletes, and sometimes they forget to update their FTP in Zwift (and believe me, for some people this involves too many steps).
Since the workout files are all based on % of FTP, the planned session will only work properly if the FTP is correctly set, which isn’t always the case!
So, it would be great to give coaches (or the AI, if that draws more attention) a bit more control over training prescription.
