Option to turn off cadence for workouts

Exactly as the topic shows but it would be great to have the option to turn of cadence requirements/targets in workouts. When going easy I tend to spin slower than 90 and it’s annoying to have the screen say “Increase cadence!”. I can’t be alone in this.

I agree… on most cases my cadence doesn’t follow watt output and it annoys me.

So - the options you have now are just to not react to the text on the screen, or to increase your cadence.

I highly recommend increasing your cadence.

Thanks for the non-productive response.

The whole point is that many riders are more comfortable sitting at different cadences and there is nothing magical about 90, especially in workouts that aren’t cadence training oriented.

Agree. I wish there was progress on this. I loathe cadence targets. Super annoying. I get the point of the targets from a training perspective, but the option would be great.

If it’s a workout you want to use frequently, I think you can simply copy the workout and make it custom for yourself – deleting the cadence requirements.
