I’m running Win 7 with IE 8.
I don’t see any minimum requirements related to IE or a web browser and I have Win 7.
No, there are no requirements for IE, but IE 8 (IE 11 is the latest for WIN7) is far outdated and you should link about running Windows Updates. The error could stem from the very outdated version of IE even though it is not listed as a requirement.
Is your Windows 7 32 or 64 bit?
