Thanks Mike, that is how I read the responses from Zwift and is the approach I’m taking for next ride.
I was just interested if the kms (or miles) people did before they joined event matches the missing kms awarded XPs. For me, no big deal. Just curiosity.

Happened to me this morning 3/12 running on Windows

Finished in just under 58 minutes, then joined the 7am ride…

First ride got double XP, second ride got absolutely zero XP. Miles clicked by, no points. Disappointed…
I wasn’t doing a warmup I did back to back ToW rides. Also finished the first ride and started the second from the “join event” button.
Same as Tim. Did my 4th and 5th stages this afternoon.
The 4th was fine but dropped into the pen for the 5th at 55mins in and got no XP for the 5th, below. Had done the same for 2 and 3 last night and both seemed fine, I think.

I didn’t get any XP’s at all on this activity:

During the ride I could see the double XP every km, but the XP progress bar never increased.
Running Zwift on AppleTv 4K.
Force-quit Zwift before starting. Did do a short free ride before joining the event by clicking the Join-button.

This happened to me, too. Joined the B ride after warming up with C. Cadence. No xp for first 17 km, then the correct 40 xp/km bonus. But, then when I joined the C ride about 15 minutes later, I received no xp at all for the full ride. Once the C ride was over, I started getting 20 xp/km.
I think Zwift should award 1000 xp pt bonus to all riders who had a problem in the race. At least, anyone who bothered to email. How hard can it be to add xp to someone’s account?

I have same issue. I’ve ridden several stage 1 and going from one event to the other (some times late joining).
After investigating my rides, I can see I’m not getting the XP I should. E.g. one of my events has 2 screenshots with XP not moving and 20km between.
What is the status from Zwift? Do we need to report this somewhere specific and with exactly what info? Will you ensure we receive lost XP?
I know multiple riders who stopped rides because of this bug. It’s affecting health as motivation for riding on Zwift goes down and one could argue that’s not what we are paying for. I hope you take this seriously - and at least you can already now reassure all of us that you will indeed give XP where XP should have been earned, even if riders are affected by this bug.

For me, it didn’t even show the XP points per mile. Miles clicked by and nothing popped up. But, on the first ride it gave me +60/mile. Basically, I was screwed out of 1380 XP.

Have been seeing this problem on each stage 1 route. Sometimes xp shows, most times not. Just rode figure 8 route , 3 consecutive times, some (not all) xp showed for the first event but none for rides 2 and 3… finally just quit on 4th attempt.

I have no problems, when I quit the ride before. I do so after having followed this discussion here. Thanks for that! Before I did two times Stage 1, Standard + one time Stage 1, short in a row jumping from one event to the next. For the first ride I got double XP, but none for the second and none for The third. Started to warn riders per message when entering an event. This all ist very annoying, especially for people (like myself) who want to use the events for a faster levelling up. Hope Zwift will find a solution quickly. And I would really appreciate if Zwift makes this bug public to inform other riders and runners.

Can confirm, had the same issue today. Did a B-ride and got double XP, then did an A-ride and got nothing the whole ride.
Also … with all due respect … “We are unable to credit accounts with additional XP” is an unacceptable answer (imho).,

2 - I started the day on Road to Sky with a custom workout that finished near the top of Alpe, after which I coasted down to the gate on the dirt road 33.0km when the event auto-started me to the corral.
During the ride, I did not receive any XP until somewhere near the end I noticed one of them pop up.
I run it on a Win10Pro64 (v.21H2) machine with 6700k CPU and 970GTX GPU, ant+ dongle with a Saris H2 trainer. I close the Zwift app manually (using the exit button in app) after each use. The Zwift app had been running only since I started my ride/workout this morning but otherwise the PC remains online, entering sleep when unused for a time period.
