Just upgraded to Zephyrus G16 - AMD HX370 and 4060 but video screenshot doesnt seem supported? Is it just too new to have hit the approved devices list?
Hi @Marc_Debenham_HSW , welcome back!
This is Jose, from Zwift, I understand how important it is for you to know if your device is compatible with the video screenshot, please take a look at this article to confirm the requirements.
Its a Ryzen 9 (ai hx 370 so as new as they get) if it isn’t compatible it’s appalling from swift not to have updated to the latest processors
I believe they are pattern-matching the CPU name, similar to how they match GPU names. I recommend contacting support and asking them to add it to the list. There was another similar report recently about the new Intel CPU naming scheme affecting this feature.
@evan-zwift could probably say more about that.
Thanks @Marc_Debenham_HSW for the report.
It looks like AMD changed their processor naming scheme to add “AI” as part of the official model identification information (e.g. AMD RYZEN AI 9 instead of the prior AMD RYZEN 9), which as @Paul_Southworth suggested did not conform to their prior naming conventions.
I made a change on our end which should include their AI-branded GPUs now. Please let us know if you aren’t able to see the setting the next time you use Zwift.
