I tried two times this week to complete “tripple flat loops” with constance, passed the finish portal in the dessert twice each time but still didn’t get a rout badge (or route of the week)
Is that how it’s supposed to work or is something wrong?
I’ve has similar problems before where a route only registered the third time through the banner (second complete lap)

My recollection is that you had to ride the start to finish to get credit. With the robot pacer, you get on the route somewhere so you have to ride route plus to achieve the goal. Eg if you join around the halfway point, you have to ride 1.5 laps whatever before reaching the start doesn’t count
Yes. Andrew is correct. You have to ride until the start of the route. Then you have to complete the whole route. The best way to know when you have hit the start of the route, is to watch your mini map. After you have gone through the start banner, it will show the highest distance left in the route (if that makes sense). Or you can search out the route, and get all the details.
Do it as a free ride. You start before the line and you are lucky to get someone to draft so its much harder and much longer to complete to route badges.
I thought the issue is that a RP ride is really just a free ride, so can the software determine what to give you a badge(s) for? There are many long routes, for example, that include within them many shorter routes. You can’t get a badge for every shorter route that might for example be contained within Knights of the Roundabout or Four Horseman by just riding one long route.
