Hi. I haven’t got any rainy weather in Zwift for several months. What happened? Has this “feature” be removed from the game? Or maybe there’s a switch somewhere and I inadvertently disabled it?
Thanks.
no settings, but there are worlds were it doesn’t rain or have night time like France. I’ve had rain in Watopia recently.
Thank gawd. That was the worst planned bit of zwift. I don’t want a dark screen and rain when I’m already riding in the basement.
Hi @Laurent_Arditi,
Welcome back to Zwift Forums. I am Nelson from Zwift Support.
The weather in Zwift varies depending on the world you’re riding in. For example, rain is common in London and coastal areas, as well as during rides in high mountain locations like the Epic KOM or Alpe Du Zwift. Please note that rain does not affect your performance; it’s purely a cosmetic feature.
If you have any other questions, just contact us at Zwift Support, and we will be there for you.
It was raining the other day in Watopia.
Had the nice thunderstorms in Watopia on my ride last night.
I love the rain, and the storms.
What I want still is snow… and night time in France… and weather on other maps.
Let users disable it if it can be done (which I don’t see why not, it doesn’t affect physics).
I love the weather; and the day/night cycles helps my brain process the passing of time; which is why I avoid France as much as I can.
It has rained on me at least 2/3 of my last days in the basement. I wish I could turn the function off. When I mentioned it in the ride with coco, there were plenty of desert dwellers that were happy with the dark gray screen and rain, so a toggle might be the best option for the most amount of people.
