No paired device option (Android)

Hey
Just bought apple TV 4k as my laptop was dying
I’m aware of the only connect 2 additional devices
I’ve connected my trainer and cadence sensor

When i go to pair my HRM through the companion app I don’t have the option for paired devices
phone is a Samsung S23

Go to the three line (More)
Then to settings
this is where i assume there should be paired device option…Its not there

Both Apple TV and phone are on the same network
Tried airplane mode on the phone…didn’t do anything
Uninstalled companion app…didn’t do anything

Any one shed any light on what could be happening or what I’m doing wrong

(On a side not i can connect all devices on companion app if i do it through the Apple TV
however i don’t want them all connected in case of Bluetooth drop out, I’m willing to sacrifice my HRM only)

Depends on the model of heart rate monitor. It may be Ant+ rather Bluetooth.

Did you select connect through phone rather than bluetooth on your Apple TV? You have to pair everything through your phone when you have more than two devices. You can’t do a combo of some through the Apple TV and some through your phone.

It sounds like you’re looking in the wrong place. You don’t go into Settings in Companion to pair devices through it.
