Has anyone ever replied to this request, I too have just bought the ESX 500, works great with Kinomap, but will not connect to the Zwift app at all.
Now can do with this app Qdoymos on play store
This app run like a powermeter and u can connect on zwift, It reveals watt, rpm and also interactivity
Is that the app that runs off a heart rate monitor and supposedly translates that into a power reading?
If so then I’m sorry, but it’ll produce completely unrealistic nonsense in terms of power readings.
It reads the power of the bike, is an ergometer, it not translate from heart monitor
It’s not “my app”. I’m only an user and I give information to who have this ergometer. So no need to flag my post.
Just to give an update on this bike. Bought one this week and it connects to Zwift without an issue. I thought I would need the QZ (qdomyos-zwift) app but don’t need it at all. Auto resistance also working. Not sure if the bike has been updated or Zwift but pleased it works.
Hi Diane,
same for me - i can connect and auto resistance works, but only on a very low level (seems like it’s just automatically changing the incline). on flats the bike just sticks to about 70 watts at around 80-90 rpm…
I could not figure out how to raise the wattage (simulating a “bigger gear” to go faster), as the bike’s computer is shut down once connected to a bluetooth device.
Does this somehow work for you without the QZ-app?
Cheers,
Daniel
you need the QZ app i did it for this reason!
Hi Roberto,
i know - i already had a look at it. guess i will give it a try
just wanted to know if there is any “direct” control - as everything works except manual resistance control.
you’re talking about QZ now or Zwift ? because on QZ you can change the resistance with the plus/minus buttons in the resistance tile and in the gears tile
