I have a previous Kickr Core v1 and Wahoo Kickr Bike Shift and been on Zwft +4 years and level +100 so I am quite familiar with how things normally feels, riding/racing in Zwift
I have made a custom z2 workout so can compare with different setups and also how the trainer changes from factory-new to burned-in/calibrated.
How long time can one expect, for the new trainer to be calibrated? ChatGPT says +10 hours with multiple rides and efforts with low/high power/cadence. Is the trainer normally getting harder or easier when burned-in/calibrated?
With my Z2 testprotocol, keeping cadence between 85-90 I got
Thu: avg HR124
Fri: avg HR130, 126, 127
Sat: avg HR136
In total I have been riding the kickr core v2 with cog2 for approx 170 min over 7 separate sessions. I am going to do more tests and also compare vs Assioma MX2 Pro to see how things develop.
I am curious to know if there is anyone else who thinks that the new wahoo kickr core v2 feels “different”?
Don’t use Heart Rate for any kind of testing…it is very unrealiable. Daily HR drift of 10bpm is very common it depends to much on your sleep, dehadration, etc.
I can’t wait to see your test using Assioma pedals to do dual recording…please upload it to Zwiftpower and share
Maybe at later stage. Going to make more tests first. I don’t want to do anything that may void the warranty or my possibility for a return, since the factory spindown is a bit more intrusive/risky
