Been Zwifting a year. Just got to level 60 this morning.
Early on I was really motivated to level up quickly. So I used all the ZwiftInsider hacks for XP farming. I really wanted the fire socks at level 50. Now there is little to look forward to until level 100. I’d like the Zwift developers to consider adding incentives to either every 10th level or at least something bigger at the 25th and 75th. Just something for additional motivation, in addition to cycling fitness. Thoughts?
It took me like 5 years to get to 60… kindly sit this one out… you’ve no idea how nice you’ve had it and what it was like to be stuck at level 50 when that was the cap. No one needs more junk in their garage to collect.

Levels 25-50 were released in 2018 (had to look that one up)
51-60 were released in 2022
61-100 were released in December 2023
In terms of what’s happened this year in the realm of XP… well… a lot of angry people [on the forum]. About XP and how long things take, like going uphill both ways (still waiting on that snow in Zwift though!)
For the record, it was the first week in December 2023 that 61-100 were released; and it should also be noted that within a 30 day period, a handful of people were already at level 100. (Granted, I realized XP calculations did change probably what, January, February?)
Now, personally, as of the recent patches coming here into end of 2024 with garage sorting, I don’t care as much anymore about “junk in the garage,” when it ends up in the bottom [finally].
I think I managed to clear level 100 some time end of January or February, but I’m sure plenty of people have a long way to go.
The reality is, at least it’s not important things like wheel unlocks etc.
I say keep it coming (can we get new gloves though? How many gloves exist… 15?)
Gloves, bike paint jobs, and/or wheel skins, would be a very welcome addition.
These may be small in appearance, but would certainly be appreciated by breaking up the monotony of folks on the same wheel since we don’t seem to be getting any new wheels anytime soon… certainly any that are replacements to these wheels anyways.
Besides; something like the DTSwiss wheels wouldn’t take an artist 10 minutes to make; hardest part would be programming a skin button in game (which… shocker, already exists for the bikes!)
Stuff like this might seem minor, but at least things like bike liveries for the common bikes, and decal colors for the common wheels are likely to be used once unlocked.
Unlike probably a good 75% of the jerseys etc.
Thoughts?
Zwift should crack on with the bike upgrade / Halobikes project.
The challenges they’ve added recently should have a much bigger completion reward than the equivalent of a 50km RoboPacer ride.
The confetti socks are worth the wait, if you’re a “pay it forward” altruistic type.
I’d encourage the OP to find as much joy in as many different facets of Zwift (and life) as possible.
I don’t think the OP asked for your opinion. They were requesting that Zwift add a feature they think would be useful.
You can get close enough to these if you chose a bike with a working colour slider.
It’d be great if the slider was always present and functional, even if the bike doesn’t change colour the wheels still could.

I’m aware. That could be the alternative; however people have been asking for that for longer than I’ve been around, so I don’t see that happening either. (Much like the still ongoing request for red, to actually be properly red in the slider.)
I was kind of hoping to find more unique decal sets for those wheels but, surprisingly came up with very little…
Regardless, I think many would appreciate being able to customize their bikes just a little bit more. (As the ongoing request for more bike color schemes continues to apparently be too much to ask for; but jerseys, which guaranteed take even longer from concept to produce by comparison… )
There are various unlocks between level 60 and 100 already, probably enough. More jerseys would depend on them being really nice ones. Bike colour schemes, maybe…
