In a Zwift club it is possible to set up a meetup with different categories. However when someone gets dropped the rider will not be able to join a lower category because you can only see your own category. In Public Zwift events this is often not the case. A, B, C, and D riders can see each other when dropping back. Would be very helpfull to also have this in clubs. Seems like a very little adjustment to me.
Meetups dont use categories at all
You can create club events where all categories are visible. Im not 100% sure if this is a setting that ZHQ Events team has to edit or if you can do it yourself in the club event creation tool on the companion app.
Alternatively just do one E pen mass start ride and groups will form organically.
Ah I think I used the wrong term. I meant if I make a Club event, I have to decide in which category. In the attached picture you see I put everything in E. I’d rather use two different categories because then they start at different times with a seperate beacon. If I do that and riders are dropped, they cannot see the other category. I know that in public events this is many times possible
