More wtrl incompetence - Data Protection

At a bare minimum, we should have a way of revoking authentication with WTRL.

Probably a coincidence, but got an alert from Google today that my account had been compromised. It’s been with me since the early 2000s, that bad boy!

ZHQ are using CC rather than BCC to email all the managers for the Zwift Grand Prix …. I didn’t really want my private email shared with several people I don’t know but didn’t get a choice in the matter. At least WTRL noticed and apologised …

We all make mistakes, but this level of public ridicule is plainly unfair for WTRL and obviously biased.

My full support to them and my email it’s in the list. Do you think ZwiftHQ or any other company that uses the internet is 100% free of data breaches or human error?

Thank you WTRL for the terrific job improving Zwift Racing (and it is free for us, it cost money and effort to them!). And within an hour we will be racing in the 2022/23 Season for Zwift Racing League!

Im pretty sure it has been confirmed that Zwift pay Wtrl to run the ZRL, unless I imagined it? So Surely our subscription goes towards that payment? As for them improving zwift racing that’s another debate altogether

It might be fair… I’ve seen how WTRL handles constructive criticism and feedback and it was completely unprofessional on their part.

I gave up on WTRL racing after a couple of duathlon league races after I realised I couldn’t actually see any results on their useless website.
I emailed them directly and asked them to delete the account associated with my email address. It was deleted in less than 24 hours.

I assume you’re new here. And you’re very much mistaken if you think WTRL run ZRL out of the goodness of their hearts. Zwift pays them to run it.

Still no reply from Zwift, typical bury their heads and not have to deal with it.

In the meantime we can play apology bingo.
Choose from the following;
Deeply sorry
Lessons will be learned
Customer satisfaction is something we take very seriously etc.
Guarentee there will be nothing concrete in rectifying this relationship they have with WRTL, who seemingly can’t do the simple things right.

C’mon, credit where credit’s due. They’re very good at tolerating sandbagging

Off topic but speaking of WTRL incompetence, am I the only one who can’t move between some subsections on the WTRL website (e.g. from ZRL schedule to ZRL rules) without going through a different top-level section (e.g. Partners) in between?

the zrl stuff works for me, as in once on zrl sections the left and menu jumps between sections pretty well.

But there are some inconsistences that confuse. e.g go to results section and the left menu disappears and you have to hit back at the top which is not a great design. TTT sections similarly has some odd stuff i assume partly due to the new UI to accommodate TTT mode it needs things cleared up so they all look and behave the same

Ah, I wasn’t using the hamburger menu (didn’t even notice it was there) but rather the menu bar at the top of the page.
