MooFit CS9 - Problems connecting

I recently got the Moofit Footfit CS9, but I can’t get it to pair properly. It doesn’t show up in Zwift at all, and while it does appear in the Moofit app, it gives me a ‘Binding Failed’ error. Has anyone else had this issue and managed to solve it?

From what I understand, it should just work once you insert the battery, but that’s not the case for me. I mainly want to use it to track cadence for running.

Any advice or tips would be greatly appreciated!

That product doesn’t look like it’s a running cadence sensor. It’s for cycling, so it needs to go on the crank arm of a bicycle and be woken up by spinning the cranks a couple revolutions.
