Memory leak (?) NVIDIA GeForce GTX

Sorry is there is a another sub-thread, I only found threads with other components but same problem. But..

Since this Saturday (6DEC2025) my Zwift keeps going into an extreme freeze after only 3-4 minutes of riding. As I interpret it - it is a memory leak - correct? Prior to this everything worked fine.

See for example my last session today (11DEC2025).

Please advice what other info is needed if any.

Tried reinstalling Zwift. Tried switching from Wifi to Ethernet.

Test it with the Nvidia driver provided by Microsoft to rule out any issues with your recent game ready driver. In a machine devoted to Zwift there is no reason to update the Nvidia driver to latest.

Cheers @Paul_Southworth . Highly appreciated. Where do I find the MS-driver?

If you uninstall the existing driver, Windows should supply it

Hi @6_Michael_Forsman_V, welcome to the Forums! I’m Francisco from Zwift Support.

Based on your screenshot and setup (GTX 1650, Windows 11, Zwift using over 3.4 GB of memory), it’s possible this is related to a memory leak or driver conflict.

Try to go back to an earlier NVIDIA driver (588.xx or 590.xx) to test stability.

Close background processes; your Task Manager shows 63 running, which may be pushing system memory limits as well.

Ride On.

Win 11 PC, GTX 1650, using this driver - no issues.

Uninstalled all Nvidia components and drivers as per @Paul_Southworth s suggestion. Everything runs smoothly again at 1440p. Cheers guys!
