Similar to an old request back in 2018 that was an idea that came into my head before I started typing the new topic. Exactly the same idea without even seeing the old post.
Perhaps a good excuse for some graphics variation, post ride chat and analysis, make friends and even swap numbers to make it easy to join other Zwifters for free rides etc.
Bike just stops post cooldown, parks and automatically you walk towards a cafe and have 20 sec to exit Zwift if you don’t want to enter.
Event Cooldown is a feature that was added in 2025 as an optional thing that event organizers can use (or not) in their group rides.
This gives everyone an extra 15 minutes after the event ends. Other options that the organizer chose (i.e. rubberbanding, assigned bikes or kit, etc) are still in effect during the cooldown period.
Yes I have seen that and used it, pretty sure for both of the rides it was only 5 Minutes but that is enough.
I see a few “Cafe” signs along the routes and even bike parking racks so it would be just a graphics extension to get off the bike and walk into a cafe sit down at a table and it would be an opportunity to chat to other riders and build the Zwift community. Would be quite a scene change and something different to stay for a post ride chat.
