The idea of being able to toggle this off has been suggested by others since at least 2020 but unfortunately I don’t think Zwift has responded.

It’s also on your profile page along with lots of other stats. Personally i never notice it.
It’s not that there is a reference to food in general. It’s the association of food being a reward for exercise that is particularly difficult for certain people.
once i got old enough to learn in sufficient detail how nutrition affects sport performance i resolved my own issues with food for the most part, but seeing that dumb ass pizza slice still pisses me off irrationally. then again, if other people use it as a motivator then who am i to judge
People unaffected by the food reference may have difficulty perceiving how important this is to those who are affected by it. It can be a life-changing or even deadly problem, so I respect the request.
People who have no idea about eating disorders maybe sit this one out!
I think this is a very reasonable request.
People in recovery from an eating disorder might be trying to get back to a more normal eating patter and may at times feel guilty for what they have eaten, seeing how long they need to cycle to get rid of this guilt will only slow their recovery.
Anything that can take away a trigger for their disordered eating is going to help.
It’s still a really weird way of measuring an activity. Calories fine, but what is normally a pretty unhealthy food choice (made quite often by this poster) is an odd way to display it.
I still find it is strange it is still there when you compare it to the stance that zwift takes on other matters that could be deemed offensive to some, but this is just ignored and left there.
Could we have a Beer counter instead, like the one I have on my Garmin?
I agree. Not everyone eats pizza. (vegetarian, also IBS) If you use food, I vote for bananas. It’s probably the most common cycling food out there. You’ve never seen a rider pull a slice of pizza from their jersey pocket (there’s always a first!)
