Mac fans blowing hard

Macbok Pro Late 2013
2.3 Ghz Intel Core i7
16 gb ram
HRM
Kickr
Power 2 Max power meter (for cadence)

Ran the software for the first time today. The fans kicked up like they never have before… Didn’t seem to be a “problem” per se, but thought I’d flag it up. Guessing it must be the processors running the graphics hard as I only have built in graphics (never thought I’d need this for 3D rendering). No harm in flagging up though, right?

I have the identical problem with the identical equipment. No other problems with the functionality, just a Mac Book struggling to keep cool.
