Lost ALL Data for my ride today

Thanks for the quick reply.  I’ve downloaded the latest version of OIS on 22nd Jan to my IPhone 6+.

My first ride - I had a few issues:

I rode with the group WBR Sub 2w/kg #pst.on 22nd

When the leader finished the ride - I was kicked out of Zwift, I restarted, logged in and Zwift  gave me the option to re-join as it was less than 1 minute since I was last Logged in, it logged me back in and retained my stats - (so a good catch there!), but unfortunately I was the only one on the island.  I finished the ride and logged to Zwift and Strava successfully.

One thing I had noticed was I had a Bluetooth connection to a speaker which was intermittently trying to connect and had been I think causing the power to drop on occasions

Today 23rd Jan  I rode with WBR Draft and dropped the other Bluetooth devices from the iphone and everything was fine and as expected,  the only small niggle I had was that when I went into the menu to pair my HRM the power dropped which left me behind the main bunch

Fingers Crossed!

This happen to me this morning on your PC application. I lost a 105km ride! What I should do?

Jon, it seems that when Zwift crashes a partial file is saved to your profile, but does not seem to be added to your totals (correct?). Why not just have an option in the edit feature to save the files listed as partial to your total. When Zwift crashed on my macbook I only lost about the last 3 minutes of data so your interim saves seem to be better.

They don’t seems to care about your lost. Reported my problem and didn’t get any feedbacks… Its hard to understand on what they are working. Not sure they care about their current user base. Probably more into potential customer…

Is there a solution for this as yet ?  I can find the file locally on my MacBook so I can upload to Strava etc. but not to my Zwift profile ?

It is madness that I can update 3rd party applications but not the actual system it came from in the first place !

I have a similar problem. I have the latest IOS and mobile link app. My last two rides have only been ‘partial’ and have not automatically uploaded to Strava. In both rides it cropped at least 1/4 of my ride. I know something is not right when my mobile link app crashes and I’m riding on my own. (Wattopia is a weird and lonely place on your own, well there’s dolphins I suppose). I used my Garmin as backup so at least I have the full data but that’s not good. I thought it might have something to do with sweat on my mobile or my wifi. But after reading these posts, I’m thinking it could be that Zwift can’t handle its own popularity. Please could you help? I used to commute to work for over 12 years but after being hit by a few cars over the years and many broken bones, I can’t take the risk. Zwift allows me to ride on my turbo (without being insanely bored) every morning before work.

Failed upload on my ride tonight, sent the file via email by tapping the Zwift logo three times. Any chance of adding it to my profile while you’re looking for errors. Also my files haven’t been up loading to Strava, I have no clue how to look for them on my iPad!? Thanks!

Chris,

Here is a helpful link for getting them off of an iPad: https://zwiftinsider.com/secret-feature-how-to-access-your-list-of-ride-fit-files-in-zwift-for-ios/

You can also use iTunes File Sharing.
