Locked profile settings (feature request)

Hi everyone,

I’m using Zwift seriously only for myself. However, as my kids are interested to muck about, I did hook up their bike so that they could have a go. To make this as realistic as possible for them, I’ve changed gender and weight multiple times to adjust to their physique.

Trying to switch the profile back to my numbers, I discovered that the entries were locked (and are to this day), only to be rectified by customer support.
The argumentation was that the profile was to be used just by one person.

I thought it a bit sinister to just lock the profile without any pre-warning.
Request 1: Give an indication as to how many changes are left available

At the same time, I really don’t understand the reasoning behind it. In my view it does not prevent any non-serious participant to not share the profile in the same household or enter bogus information to make them appear stronger.
In my case, my kids will now need to pretend to be my weight and height and gender. (I will not buy two new subscriptions for these odd occasions)
Request 2: Do not lock profile data altogether. In my view this will not prevent direct loss of income but certainly has miffed my view a bit.

Happy to hear about any insight.

Flo

This is why:
Q: Can two people share an account?
A: No. Each user on Zwift must have their own membership.

Worse yet, child accounts are no longer supported:

Thus, in the meantime… there’s nothing you can do; account sharing is against ToS, and child accounts are no longer a thing.

Welcome to the place referred to as, between a rock and a hard space.

There is no solution unfortunately, beyond “alternative software”

Hi Andrew, and thank you for the fast reply.

Whilst I didn’t read the terms in depth, I had assumed as much and understand the reasoning.
I just think the way this is enforced is possibly a bit overzealous.

Anyway, happy training.
