Latest Mac Update No Sensors Recognized

The most recent Mac update does not allow my devices (Stages) to display power. The device is found, but no power is shown. Power shown in other devices (Garmin 500). Please fix software or allow previous version of software to be run. Thanks.

Hey Jerry,

We haven’t changed any of our transmission protocols, there was nothing in the last update that should be causing this problem in Zwift itself.

With that being said, we are going to need some more information to be able to help you out, and I am also going to move this into Tips and Troubleshooting to be able to better help you out!

Are you connecting via your Mac’s native BLE, BLE via the ZML, or are you using an ANT+ antennae?

When was the last time you updated the firmware of your Stages and replaced the battery? Even if the battery has enough capacity to transmit to your Garmin, that doesn’t mean the battery is allowing the Stages to produce enough power to communicate to a more energy demanding application like Zwift.

Are you performing a zero offset calibration every ride per Stages’ instructions?

Let us know and we’ll get you taken care of!
